From Tvedestrand to Oslo - our first long boat trip together

Experiences

Some boat trips you never forget. In March 2022, we set sail from Tvedestrand and followed the coast north - a journey that became the start of our shared passion for the sea.

A cold adventure:
We took over our previous boat, a Scan 7800, in Tvedestrand - and already the first evening we felt both the excitement and the cold. It was early spring and the sea was calm - but the air was fresh and we had the whole coast ahead of us. After a few adjustments in the harbor, we set course for Kragerø.

Stopovers and memories:
The trip went via Kragerø and Åsgårdsstrand - small gems along the Sørland and Vestfold coasts. We spent the night in Nevlunghavn before taking the last leg through the Oslofjord. With each port we became safer, and it became clear that this was more than just transportation - it was the start of a shared adventure.

What we learned:
Going out on the water together requires planning, trust and good cooperation. We learned this quickly - and it has characterized our boating life ever since. We've been on many trips since then, but this journey was the start.

We're sharing this story because this is where the spark was lit - and because we know that many people dream of something similar. That's why we want to share our boat and our experience with others who want to experience the best of coastal Norway - at a leisurely pace, with warmth in their eyes and the sea under their keel.
